Will sympodium grow on glass?

I started a 20 long barebottom zoa tank. It was suggested I do a wall of GSP(green star polyps). I decided I didn't want green and wanted to go blue. Now I'm at a standstill. The only things similar to GSP are Blue sympodium or Blue clove polyps. Would either of these grow on a glass wall? I don't think the sympodium would work out because of it growing from a stalk? Any advice is appreciated.

I have sympodium which sometimes grows out onto the bare bottom of the frag tank, but it does seem to prefer other surfaces.
I also have blue cloves currently taking over the back wall of a 100g tank :)

The blue cloves will definately cover everything. Hope you like em alot.
I put some on a single rock but I'm afraid of it giving off eggs. Been seeing pics & reading posts where the cloves can take over and cover pretty much everything in the tank.
