Windex OK?

I have some stains on the inside of my aquarium. I haven't filled it yet, will be doing that tomorrow morning. Is it OK to use windex on the glass?

NO! It contains chemicals that you don't want in your tank.

It's easy to just use white vinegar to clean everything. Lay your tank on it's side and pour in enough to cover the glass panel and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then clean or scrub it with a new sponge that has been rinsed.

don't even spray windex in the same room as your tank. the mist gets in the air then in your tank. i use windex on the outside of the tank, but spray it on the cloth in another room. your best bet is as kondog said use vinegar for both inside and out. just make sure to rinse the inside of the tank after.
