Is WNCE 2001 still the best to use? Getting harder to find local as Best Buy stopped carrying. Anything as good or better i can pick up at best buy?

So, I went with a Netgear N600 Dual Band WiFi Range Extender (WN3500RP) and it has worked really well for me. I picked it up on Amazon Warehouse deals (I see a couple there now for $22) and I got the benefit of having a wifi extender downstairs in my house, and I have a ethernet port on it for my Apex to use.

I'm using the WNCE 2001 for about three months now, No issues with it so far. Also had power lost to the house, once it came back everything was working fine. No lost info.
