WOOHOO! My new mantis roomie!

Ok, I just got him home from the store, put him in a pyrex bowl and snaped some shots.. He/She was fairly peeved, so I took these pictures quick like!


I did notice that one of his/her 'clubs' is missing. I know it will grow back. Anyway here are the best pictures I could take, atm.

Last Picture..

He's burrowing in the sand right now, making a home.

He is about 2.5-3" long and 3/8th" wide. His back is brownish with a definite green tint at the bottom of each scale. His legs are teal colored. His one 'club' is green with gold oblong and round markings. His eyes are pink and round.

Update!

There WERE 4 blue legged hermits in with him. He ate them all.
Every single one of them. I guess to him, they're like pringles, once you pop...


I figured he would eat them after the typical stressful acclimation period.. guess not. hehe.
