Worm in GPS

I have had a Green star Polyp for the last 10 days it is looking great and even starting to grow up the rock but tonight during lights off I spotted a bristleworm (I think) poking out the end of a polyp and on further look there are a few openings.. does this mean my coral is dying or being destroyed by these pests

Any advice extremely welcome I am new to this hobby

If that is a bristleworm (looks like it), you have no worries. They are useful for eating uneaten food, detritus, etc. Just don't try to pick one up! They will not harm anything.

No, it will not hurt any corals.

Your coral looks fine. Looks like it’s growing around something and the worm found the hole. Nothing to worry about
