Would it be bad for zooplankton in fuge lit 24/7?

Isn't night time or under the cover of darkness when zooplankton reproduce and feed in a refugium? So a 24/7 lit refugium could be a bad thing, right?

With no predation, the zooplankton seems to adapt. I've no shortage of pods in my fuge
