I had a wonderful time today. Even with the last minute change in location due to the weather there still was a great turn out. Great corals, great people and awesome food, not sure I will be able to eat for a week!! I don't think it could have turned out better. I want to again say thanks to Gary for offering up his house at the last minute, Thanks Gary!!

Ed

Yeah, I second all that. Thanks Gary! Every time I come up to Tucson I meet more great people. I have my new frags acclimating right now. I can't wait for the next one!

On a side note, we hit snow right out of Benson, and it's been snowing like crazy here in SV all day. The temp on the car said 50 in Benson, and was down to 33 as we pulled in the driveway. It's starting to stick now.

Ditto with everything said above. Had a blast. Thank you so much Gary for hosting it. Every single coral I got has polyps out all over them. Tangs are already chewing on the moon, so I figure it will be clean by tomorrow.

Oh yea, and as far as snow, we had an inch when we got home in our backyard!! Well, off to Safeway to buy meat for the bbq...rich

thanks again Gary. we had a great time, sorry we couldn't stay longer. Cats lost, but played pretty well...at least i've got some sweet new frags. thanks guys, can't wait to do it again.:smokin:

Great meeting! Nice to meet the people behind the avatars! Thanks Gary for opening your home to all, and Scott for the Screen Savers & espresso bar, and Zack for the salt, and everyone else for all the great food & camaraderie, and LET'S DO IT AGAIN!!

Wow, Gary, Thank you for a great day. Thanks everybody for attending, sorry we didn't get everybody in the picture, but some had already left by then. Can't wait to do it again.

Yeah, Gary, thanks! Great time! Anna and i had a great time. And it's always nice to see everyone in person. I can't believe it, I don't think i stopped eating the whole time! Thought I would post a pic of the new combo of Gary's rocks with Ed's SPS. Anna has promised that would be the last major rearrangement for a while. We'll see. But she's thrilled for the moment!

Oh Brian, I have a frag of the Fire and Ices for you. In fact, it hopped up and fragged itself while I was holding it. It even crawled across my hand looking for you! Here it is

Hello everyone!
What a great time today! I appreciate the warm welcome by everyone and the awesome frags by all those who took the time to frag their corals so we could all continue to beautify our own tanks. Look forward to doing it again!

Jess

It is indeed a decorator crab. I've never seen a zoanthid-carrying species in person. It even picked some high-quality zoas for its home. A crab with taste. Made me jump when it first hopped off. Could have been all those espressos making me jumpy. Thanks for those Scott!

Ok Just got home, Gary thanks for letting us come by I and others greatly appreciate your gesture at the last minute. Had a nice chat with you and with every one there, maybe this could be a first instead of having this meeting at a psuedo place maybe we can just have someone host it at their house. I thorougly enjoyed Gary's Aquatica displays. Anna the recipe's will be coming. Brian I'll get them Sun's to grow somewhat and we'll see what we can do. I agree with Ed, Haiiiiiiiiir-cutttttttttttt.

well than, not going in my 2.5gal with the mantis lol. The 55gal is good tho. Yea great taste to bad is not with PPE's lol. Yea thanks scott. Ill be fraging the GSP for ya soon olin. Wow thanks alot Chris.

Brian, don't let them give you a hard time about your hair! This was me up until a few months ago:

Thanks again Gary! The turnout was great and it was nice to meet some new folks.

Olin, I had a decorator crab in the past. They are great fun to watch, only they are nocturnal. I would occasionaly see mine napping during the day while poking a zoo covered leg out into the light so it could get nourishment. I think they choose to cover their bodies with beautiful corals because they are so UGGGGLY!!!
