I have a six line wrasse and a cleaner shrimp... big deal right? Well I have have this combo in the past with no issues... lately, the six line will charge at the cleaner and ram it :eek2: ...but it has not tried to bite, eat or anything else. It just rams the crap out of it  Im stumped. Is this normal? Never seen of heard of this before. What's happening here?

Thx!!

Six line wrasses can get very aggresive which is what seems to be happening to yours.

Damn :( that sux

(why the cleaner tho? it would make sense if it were to chase another fish but a helpless cleaner??

Exactly. The cleaner is an easy target for your aggressive and territorial wrasse. He might not want to pick a fight with a fish that will fight back. :)

IMO - I believe that the cleaner has decided to position itself in a area where a great food supply is being introduced and your six-line is just catching on to the GAME... My suggesting is to try feeding away from that area without any addition flow to see what happens.

Basically, keep trying new methods of experimenting until their relationship improves. I hope this helps you out. I have both in my 24 gallon nano and haven't had any issues between the two.

lol i had one with skunk cleaners. He was the biggest cream puff though lol. Im sure it will be fine, long as he's not harassing the cleaners to death.
