this may be an old topic, or a new one...but does anyone have any experience with a kind of wrasse that will go after the zoa eating nudibranches?
a LFS near me, which had an infestation of nudi's in some zoas put some kind of wrasse in the tank and it went after them. it might have been a lunar wrasse (whatever that is, not sure what they look like). if i'm not mistaken, i think they have also had success with lunar wrasses eating some bad monti eating flatworms sometimes.
i got myself a sixline wrasse to see if it would eat some random flatworms i can see on some soft corals. the flatworms aren't harming them, they are just annoying to look at. the sixline didnt touch them of course, i dont even see him go after any pods.
i'm just looking for some kind of reef safe wrasse that will take out any small flatworms, bugs, nudi's that might be harmful to my tank if they came in on a colony of zoas.
just wondering what people's experiences with them are.
