I have a 29 gallon fish only. With a 70 aquaclear filter. Ive had a clownfish for a year now that was in a 14 gallon I set up for my daughter. She lost interest. So I picked up a used 29 tank hood and stand. And put in the family room. And added 3 blue yellow damsels. A friend at work told me about this forum. (Great place) And gave me a Kenya tree frag. I didnt think it would live with my stock fixture and single 24" 17 watt T8 bulb. Put it in friday morning. Slumped over fri and sat. Stood up on sunday and looking good for now. I told my friend at work I didnt want to get crazy with this stuff. (Cant afford to) But I have to admit seeing that coral stand up has sparked my interest. So I am looking at getting some better lighting in there. And eventually and slowly add some live cured rock. So if anyone has a used 30 in fixture that would work for me let me know. Thanks.

generally t5 bulbs come in 24 or 36 in. lengths if thats what you mean. Welcome to reef central and the hobby. Sorry reread your post dont know if t8 bulbs come on 30 in lengths

i would sell... if it would work again. it like new condition... {im planning on Leds for christmas...Just need to let Santa.."hubby " ...know. what there getting me....lol

I might have a line on a 30" coralife lunar aqualight. It uses 2 65w pc bulbs and 2 mini leds. If the guy is willing to seperate. From all I have been reading and learning here. Most people dont use lids over there reef tanks. And if you want live rock. You should have started with the rock first. And have a protein skimmer. I would like to keep the glass hood with a better light over it. And my aquaclear 70 HOB filter. If I needed to find a used protein skimmer I could do that. What would I be able to keep with that setup. The kenya tree is still doing ok under the cheap light. Just trying to make the tank look more natural on a budget. Thanks.
