I have a 36" 4 bulb fixture i could let go fairly cheap

The tank is only 9" wide, so a 4 bulber would probably be too wide

Also, if anyone has a 36" stand with a flat top (rectangle or bowfront), I'd be interested in that too!

This is exactly half the size in every dimension from the tank I gave to Brandon. Now I just need the mini fish

Sunlight supply, maker of the Tek fixtures, makes an all in one retrofit kit. Has the ballast in a barebones housing that has the end caps affixed to it. Reflectors just snap in. Pretty cheap for a 2 bulb. I have 2 of the dual 4 footers for my hood. Still have to buy bulbs at $15-20 a piece, but I think you could do it all for under $150 new.

Aye, but there will be no canopy to speak of. A nova extreme 2x39w runs $75 these days so thats my backup. But I've had a few leads from some boardies here
