WTB - 48" Giesemann T5 Bulbs

I'm interested. My order before discount and shipping was around $400. Did you PM Freddie40 yet? What is the dollar amount of your order?

ZenMan told me "1) ReefGeek: Spend over $250 and get 5% off, spend over $500 and get 7% off, spend over $1,000 and get 10% off. Users can get together and place one big order, as long as it ships to one address."

I'm open for today - but would rather wait until Wed or Thrus to see if we can get more takers on the group buy. Ideally, I would like to get the 10%, but 7% is better then zero. My understanding is Freddie40 has to provide a code or something so we can get the discount. That's why I asked if you had already done that.

I also don't know how we deal with the shipping as this is neither discounted nor free. Lastly, how do we gather the $? I’ve never dealt with the logistics of a group buy, sorry for all the Q’s

make sure on the quality of the bulbs before you purchase. I know their Giesemann bulbs they have changed manufactures(no longer german manufacture). I would check the lighting forums before I order. Not to bust in on the thread..I origanally purchased Giesemann t-5 ho actinic 03 bulbs & i cycle my replacement & when i reorderd the color was different. just my .02.

I'm in no hurry, and bring a group buy 1/3 to the $1K for 10%. I appreciate the advice Harry on the Giesemann - I know whatever T5s I get, they will be better then what I've got. If anyone is still interested, please pipe in as I would like to know who's in the order, even if we wait a week or two. /r Dave
 
I'm definitely in. Please keep me posted. The sooner the better for me. It looks like we're 250 short. I can find another $50 or so to buy, anybody else???

As far as logisitcs, I would suggest we all paypal or deliver money to the "point" person prior to the order. That way no one gets stuck.
 
I'm serious â€"œ I’ll coordinate if we deal in cash. I can pay pal out but can't receive funds since I never validated my account & lost track of that 6 cents. Let’s set a deadline for this coming Monday to give the weekend crowd a last chance. Agree? I can send Freddie40 a message to see what we need to do to get the code for Colorado Rocky Mountain Reef Club. If anyone would rather deal with paypal, and coordinate, I’m fine with that too.
 
The thing about Paypal is just ease of use. Getting you the cash when we live 45 minutes apart is a potential issue. I'm just trying to keep things easy.
