WTB a pair of Picasso Clowns...

I am looking to buy a pair of Picasso clowns for a reasonable price.
I know they are bringing big bucks on some sites. I am hoping someone can lead me in the right direction for a pair.
Thanks in advance.
Maybe SITC?? I still need to get up your way, and check out what everyone is talking about.

That's where I've gotten my four picassos from. Marcye is the greatest...much better prices than anywhere online for picassos...MUCH BETTER. I haven't seen a picasso online for less than $100. Last I heard picassos from SITC were $75 each. This, of course, can change with their pricing from ORA.

and you have one of those super rare expensive tangs that i've seen on Liveaquaria like, once ever.

Where do you find these deals?! /droool /cry hahaha

Wow. i bought my last picasso for like 25-30ish.
supply and demand

Wow, great price. I can't even get them wholesale from ORA for near that cost. Was this recently?

From your gallery, I think you are talking about the picasso trigger, Mark. The question was about picasso clownfish (A. percula from ORA).

Wow you weren't joking when you said expensive.

edit: ok i posted a site 3 times and RC keeps censoring it. I guess Extreme Coral's website may have advertised or something. But they have a pair that has be sold for $399.99

copy paste that

I know SITC had some dont know if they are still there, and there is a pair in the display tank at Aquaria Studio in waterford too. I think Vinh said something like 350-400 .. its kind of the going rate.

I think they are cute but i'll take my cheap misbar clowns any day- plenty of personality!

Man its so bad to have a LFS on your way home from school :(:( If SITC was so close I think i'd have to declare bankruptcy

Like I said before, just talk to Marcye and ask her to hold the next pair to come in for you. Well under half the price of what Aquaria Studio is selling that pair for, in fact, well under half the price of what most places are selling them for. I think that makes it worth the small wait of pre-ordering through SITC.

I think riptidesreef can get them for $100 as singles and $250+ for a pair...one place in NJ used to sell them for $60 each before ORA's pricehike and then $50 for shipping. I've done my research on picasso's(they are my favorite clown) and SITC far beats any price I've seen, gets nice one's from ORA, and has been haing a decent stock of them coming in. To think, I had to wait over 8 months for the first ones to come in, now they're coming in almost monthly...trust me, no matter how long you wait after placing yourself on her waiting list, it should be less time than I waited for my first two baby pics. They are now growing up and taking form...I can't wait until reproduction time. I'm hoping(obviously no guarantees with these little buggers) that they will be breeding in 6months-1year.

ok i feel like a idiot. im turning around and not even looking back:(

wow! I had no idea they were so expensive. To me, they hardly would be worth that price. I think a good pair of dark true percs/onyx clowns are better looking for a lot less. The patterns on them are pretty neat and rare, thats for sure, but their coloration is very bleh imo.

I'm going to start a new thread with my newest pics...the picasso pics will be in there if anyone is interested as they start growing to see how they look.
