I've been through 3 or 4 peppermint shrimp and none of them seem to touch my aiptasia. Joe's Juice doesn't do much--it makes the aiptasia retract, but they still come back a few days later. Does anyone want to get rid of a pepp. shrimp that actually does eat aiptasia? Thanks.

The 3 I bought @ Strictly Fish did a great job of ridding my tank of aiptasia....................

Also aiptasia is not their preferred food. If you feed your tank alot they have no need to eat aiptasia.

Yeah, I've done my research on them and I've starved the tank and they still didn't touch them. I also heard that the ones w/ darker tails are from a different part of the world and they are more likely to eat aiptasia. I've been able to distinguish between the lighter and darker tails, but the three that I had never touched aiptasia. Now it's growing out of control. I guess I'll just try another one. Thanks all.

I bought one and it instantly disappeared, although the aiptasia also mysteriously disappeared. Then I found it's molt a few weeks ago. So apparently they do eat aiptasia... I got him from Apex in Culver City.

Ya, they ate my micromussa frag in seconds. Till this day I have to wonder if it was because they knew it was unhealthy when it arrived or just plain liked them. They never have touch anything else since then except aiptasia, and have done a good job of ridding me of them at that.
