wtf,my derasa has attached to my fighting conch

I was looking around in my tank yesterday,and saw my fighting conch,what looked basically like it was trying to go under the clam.So I picked the clam up and its foot is attached to the fighting conch,really good to.My conch must have buried in the sand under the clam,and stayed there for a while.What can I do,it doesn't look like the clam is gonna let go?

If it's attached by the byssal threads, just take a sharp razor and cut the threads as close to the conch shell as possible. Watch your fingers when holding the conch - if you haven't noticed, there's a sharp serrated blade on conch feet that can give one a nasty gash.
