XENIA Closed for a few weeks

I have a small frag of xenias that I have had for 4-5 mos. They were doing well and all of a sudden 3 weeks ago they closed down and have not opened since. They are not deteriorating at all just closed tight. I have another larger batch that are doing fine waving away and growing in leaps and bounds. They are in close prximity to each other. Water parameters are fine nothing is out of wack. I do a 25% waqter change every 4 weeks. I feed the corals every other day. Any ideas what is going on?

I have just posted a similar thread. My Xenias were thriving as well then all of a sudden they all closed up. But I think 2 of mine are actually dead, they don't look good at all. If you hear anything let me know. My water parameters are perfect too.

Look upstream of them and see if there is anything breathing on them.
Things I have found to affect them:
shade: they want light
peppermint shrimp: briefly---the shrimp were confused and attacked; this stopped and they came out.
tank chemistry: at mg 1200, alk 2.90, cal 450, mine are happy and active.
flow: they need some flow, but not a gale.
a really annoyed coral upstream: this improved with carbon.
Hope one of those helps.
