Xenia looks eatin ?

Recently my Xenia has been loosing the pulsing arms on it, not all but enough to make it quiet noticable. The Xenia also seems to prefer staying scrunged up now but still pulses, at a slower rate then previous. I was reading somewhere to kill Xenia you should inject Kalkwasser into the stalk, I have been using a Kalkwasser drip recently trying to enhance coralline growth. is it possible that this is effecting my Xenia ?

I doubt that it is the kalkwasser. Check your pH and Alk.

I had a coral beauty angel that liked to snack on xenia- have you added any new livestock recently?

Mine do it all the time. If you google Xenia, they go through lifecycles and sometimes turn brown and slime and look dead, but they aren't. Give them a few weeks and they come back in full force. Xenia was so thick in my tank, I had over 100 stalks growing everywhere on everything including glass. But it always goes through cycles. They do love Kent lugols solution, but follow the directions as to not over use it.
