Yellow banded possum wrasse addition

After my neon pseudo was returned to the lfs (FINALLY)... I decided to go with a very peaceful yellow banded possum wrasse. I watched it eat frozen at the store and was there for about 2 weeks. No issues with introduction, the clown ignores it and the angel was curious for about a half a second. My only concern is when feeding, and turning pumps off, I am having difficulty feeding it in the cave. Does anyone have suggestions for warming them up to my feeding, or is it a long time before they come out?

My white banded is out a lot but was not at first. I'd say it took a week or so before it was seen much. Everyone else pretty much ignores it & it just glides around the tank seemingly unaware of others. It was added to DT in December & I have yet to see it eat any prepared food. I have noticed it picking at the sand & rocks. At the 9 month stage now so it must be eating something

Wow that long and you havent witnessed it eat? I suppose if they are pod eaters. Mine did swim out a bit last night and look at the food. So perhaps its a matter of time. Thanks for the input.
