This little guy was a hitchhiker on a Frogspawn that I bought at IMAC. I know that cuke's are dangerous, but how dangerous do you think this little one is? Should I remove it or let it be?

That particular animal is essentially harmless.

Make sure to include lots of phyto and rotifers for it as it is a filter feeder.

You need to dose phytoplankton and some zooplankton for it to survive. If underfed it will feed on its own flesh until it perishes into nothing. It is the smallest of all cucumbers available in trade and will generally not cause a problem when dead. I had a 7" tiger cucumber dies and nuked my tank a couple months ago. Now that was horrific.

This is Colochirus robustus, reported to be one of the best cukes for aquariums. It filter feeds from the water so a good current & lots of plankton are essential. C. robustus will undergo asexual reproduction by splitting into 2 pieces both of which regenerate the missing section so don't be surprised if your critter appears to be tearing itself in two.

so if they simply filter feed what are the benefits of having it in your aquarium? most cucumbers kept either stir substrate, eat deterius, etc so they can kinda make up for thier risk. is the purpose of this purely for display?
