Yellow polyps for sale $2 each

I've seen this discussed many times in the past and there are (at least) two different varieties. I think the lighter, gold type has longer tentacles but don't remember for sure.

Several years ago I had the bright yellow and they did well for a couple years...until I got peppermint shrimp. Evidently yellow polyps taste like aiptasia :rolleye1:
I've had a couple "gold" ones hitchhike on zoa colonies before and they are definitely two different morphs.

fwiw they truly were a weed in Bruce's old tank :lol:
 
I was selling $5 frags at the last swap with 2 to 4 polyps on live rock naturally, no glue involved. I happen to like my polyps.
I gave my son a small patch of these and you should see what they've done under 250w 14k HQI's
 
I cant say if they are brighter yellow, but of course they look better under his lights. I only run PC's.

What I see is the young ones are much brighter yellow and they turn darker from the bottom up as they get old. 1yr+
 
One mans Weed is another mans Rose. I know- shut up, Im not a poet. But I do know alot about yellow polyps now, lololol :]
