hey guys and gals I have a 375 gal fish only tank with a 250 gal sump. I am looking for a skimmer that can handle great load, it will be in sump. maybe a g4, but with all the skimmers out there and the fact that every LFS I have asked gives diff info. so i am lost any help would be a help also my stand is 46" tall so I have room I think for a tall one. thanks

With a stand that high you can get a pretty big skimmer in there. I would go with an ASM G-5 myself. I'm using G-6's in the fishroom I'm building, and I really like them.

Look at ASM, H&S, Deltec, MRC, and Euro-Reef before you buy anything.

I'd think a g4 would be too small for that amount of water..

I would look at a Bubble King, but if thats too much $$$, then the deltec, H&S, and ER-RC are prolly out as well. The G5 or 6 would be okay, but they would suck up alot of energy with all those pumps runnning. Thats why I mention the BK.
