....ok, politics aside, they need to cover it up with a black cloth and keep the lights out for at least 23 hours a day. That will get rid of algae.

....all seriousness, they are not targeting the source "unethical industrialization practices".

I was just reading that news article about the latest Caulerpa infestation found in San Diego.. then I read this. I went downstairs and what do I see? My barebottom tank has been dominated by hair algae! :eek2: I'm telling you man, algae is taking over the world!!

Actually rainy days would inhibit its growth.. the tons of co2 from their plants they are pumping into the air with intense light is what fuels these algae.
