I want to try out the ZEOvit system but don't really want to shell out $200+ for the reactor, and was wondering if one can be made or is there something special that makes it worth buying one. Thanks for any input you can offer.

I built my own. They are not hard at all to build. If you go to Z....t.com, they have a forum there for reactors. Plenty of DIY stuff.
