zoos disapearing

Like the title says i have a rock that was covered by zoos then they staid close for awhile now there disapearing.I dont see and pests or anything eating them.But i do have a rock with the same kind on the other side of my tank and there doing great.So is there some thing I'm not seeing or what.

I have a similar problem. Something eating at my pulsing corals.

Have you found what it is.I have stared at my tank for hours on end to find what it is and nothing.I would think it was in a spot but the whole rock is doing it and now its two of my rocks.

I had a hitchhiker rock crab eating my zoas in the middle of the night. I spotted him with a flashlight one night chowing down. Needless to say he's gone now....flush!

I spotted my Electric Blue Hermit crab eating one of my zoas...also at night...he's gone now....

im with chris..i just pulled a 4" rock crab out of my tank that ate about 2000 zoanthids and 13 rics...i still have him in my sump. look at the tank with a red lensed flashlight about 1.5-2 hours after your lights go out (provided your room is dark). youll be amazed at what you will see.

what about a bicolor angel I have noticed him picking around the rock it doesnt look like he is going for the zoos but i might be mistaken

i had a crab pick on my zoos, rip poor crab, my friend had noticed his zoos closed up all the time on one of his rocks, he could figure out why, then a nice aptasia showed up, killed the aptasia then the zoos perked right up, i guess they where getting stung

Check out this thread http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=5245201#post5245201 You may want to check your tank for any of these sundial snails.My wife noticed one of these on a zoanthid frag I purchased.We caught him just in time before he did any damage.Good luck.

I looked last night and nothing but my bicolor is picking at them so now how to get him out of my 250gal
