1 Head Disappearing

I bought a frag of bam bams three weeks ago. There were 5 heads. Here there are a day after in my tank.

The middle head kept closing for the past two days. I checked frequently for parasites at night and during the day. Nothing. Nothing is picking at it. Today the head is being grown over by more zoa flesh. Or at least that's the best way I can describe it. I wouldn't think it is melting, but I'm not a expert, the other 4 heads are opening up great, and no flesh is receding.

I would guess bacterial infection.
I would dip in Lugol's solution ASAP.
8-10 oz of tank water and 3-5 drops of Lugol's for 3-5 min.
Bring it back to the system and let the water flow help it out.
I'm assuming the system has a good maintenance and there is no predators.

Thanks, grandis. I took it out and dipped. Upon closer inspection it had 3 small white spots. Is this zoa pox? I started reading on it, and saw a array of treatments from h2o2 to furan-2. I don't want to rush anything and make it worse.

The other polyps opened back up after the dip.

I would use Furan2, as I've heard from many to be the best.
People say that peroxide doesn't work on 100% of the times.
