So I woke up the other morning to find my wrasse has a biggish white spot on him. I think it's too big for ich, and it's only one spot.

Thought it was a piece of sand stuck to him, but it's still there. What do you guys think?

I don't know, but yesterday I looked and it was gone! But then he was gone! Not around at feeding time last night, this morning, and tonight :(

flukes aren't visible usually, try to do a search on lymphocystis and see if that doesn't match what you see. It's a viral disease due to poor water quality and there is no cure, except great water quality. It's usually not fatal but it's contagious so it needs to be out of your tank into a QT. Now, before you freak out though, it's only a possibility that it's lymphocystis as it's not really common. So, research it, and see if that stems to an answer.

Thanks, but he's back in the open again without the spot on him. Not sure what it was, but it's gone now and he's swimming and eating like a madman!

One of my favorites if it wasn't so expensive or have a tendency to jump or loss some of it's color. I will try one eventually but my tank is wide open with no real chance of it ever going enclosed. when I get a larger system with a canopy than I'll be able to use egg crate and keep it in there. :)
