20140210_185146[1].jpgMy talk is around 1 yr. old now and all of the parameters are right where they should be.
The show is a 65 gal (36"L x 18"w x 25"H), with a custom 45 gal sump (refugim).
I have a "reef octopus 4" protein skimmer in the sump.
4 Hydor Koralia Evolution 750 to 850 gph- pumps in the tank with a smart wave controller (switching between 2 on 2 off, to give good random flow).
Eheim return pump #1262- around 6 to 8 turn over per hour.
Lighting is a Cora life HO - 36" 2- 10,000k bulbs, and 2 Antic blue bulbs. cycle is around - on blue on at 7am off at 930pm, white is 8am to 9pm.

Fish - 1- 4 striped damsel, 2- neon damsels, 4 Ocellaris (2 typical, 2 maroon), 1- yellow tang, 1 flame angel, 1- Condy Anemone, 1- blue tip Anemone misc. snails, and few peppermint shrimp.

With in the past month - I have lost:
1- Torch Coral
1- Hammer Coral

All of the fish are doing well. I see no issues with them. The corals, they were beautiful. They were in my tank for 4 months before they just kept slowly faded away. Also my corals color is very blah..

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

My first thought is not enough light., 4 bulbs is not very much and actinics don't provide a lot if par. Also, has the angel been nipping?

+1 and what is your salinity, and do you dose and if so what and how often?

The white photo period should only be 7-8 hours. Please list your actual water parameters, "right where they should be" doesn't help us make any kind of an accurate diagnosis.

My first guess would be the light as we'll... However a torch and hammer should be just fine under a 4 bulb t5 . You didn't post any parameters, that's probably tho most important thing in order for anyone to help you. Also how many watts a PC for that light 36x4 or 54x4 and if your tank is round 1 yr old that means you should have replaced your bulbs in the last 4 months or so.... Have you ?

My first guess would be the angel taking a liking to LPS. It looks like the rest of your corals are softies. What is the temperature of the tank?

Really like that stand/setup.
You make that yourself?
Looks real sharp.
+1 to what the others have said, just what is your sg/ca/kh/mg/nitrates/phosphates?
Numbers can often tell the tale.
After a year, time to switch the bulbs, maybe some ATI's, 2 blue+, 1 coral+ & 1 purple+.

Thanks guys for all the question, and I did take them to heart.
I just replaced the lighting to a 6 bulb T5ho system. I need to adjust the bulbs, not really liking the spectrum.
My parameters are - to follow tonight I didn't sync my app for tracking everything.

I did build this with the exception of the tank itself. It was a ton of fun and learning. I currently am building a 92 gal corner, with 30 gal sump. Its coming along really well. I post those pic very soon. Its all wood working now, and layout. also I just picked up a 125 gal that will be my LV room aquarium.

But before any of that happens I want to figure out exactly what i'm doing wrong on my 65 gal. Its just driving me nuts. I've never see the angel nipping on any of the corals. I typically keep some seaweed papers (for lack of a better description) in the tank.
Ill post param tonight.
thanks guys.

I am surprised you are able to keep 4 clown fishes in that tank size especially two maroon clowns. I would keep close eyes on your maroon clown fishes. Once they start maturing, one will kill all your clown fishes with no problem. Maroons are very territorial and with sand can cause big messes.

Do you dose CA? From my experience Hammer Coral (frogspawn etc) are very touchy to CA level. Keeping CA high (over 420 ppm) helped in my case. How well does coralline algae grow in your tank? Lack of good growth could be a sign your parameters are off.
