So..... Yesterday i was asked to go and take a pic of this tank as he had tried and could not get a full tank shot. (im not surprised as its 10 foot long !!) What looks like a sump underneath isnt at all and i was shocked to find myself face to face with a bloody huge great lizard !!!!

So i turn up with some of my gear and WOW what a great tank. So i asked if i could share it with you guys and he agreed. Funny to think there are tanks like these about and you wouldnt get to see them as the owners dont bother with forums and the like :)

Ive about 80 photos im still going through but ive added most of the best on my website below.

You can find more pics of it on my website at :

I'd really like to see some equipment shots for this tank. It is truly awesome, nothing compares to a established giant reef tank that is well stocked.

very nice tank. i like the woodwork on the stand too, both very beautiful, and definately worthy of a TOTM. id like to see some more specs too.

That is truly a gorgeous tank but what is the reasoning for the open space on the left side? Not that I don't like it, I just wondered if it's personal taste or a functional component of the tank?

Hmmmm.. I never thought of using a lizard in my sump for filtration. You Europeans are really on the "cutting edge" when it comes to reef tech. :D

Ill find out all the details i can for you, and post back up once i know :)

I do know though the Sump was Huge and he had pipes going through the wall to a shed outside where all the equipmet was kept. Shame i didnt take any pics of that side though :( as i was to carried away with the tank.

As for the break in the rock, there was no function i could see he just wanted a break in the rockwork.

Im gonna have to try and go back round and take picks of the shed as loads of people have asked about it.

Beautiful tank..love to see a pic of the sump lizard too :)

I agree, I would like to see pics of the bottom half of the stand as well... I would like more info on it as it looks like a pretty good span with limited support...
