Hey all,
So I'm planning on a 10 gallon AIO build and I have some questions on the back wall. My tank is a pretty cheap pets mart tank so if it breaks it's no big deal. My question is I'm planning my design for the back panel and I wanted to know if I should use acrylic or glass. My understanding from researching sump designs is that you want to stay with the same media that the tank is made from. With that said I was planning on using glass however I've screen some pretty cool builds that have used acrylic. I've read that the issue with acrylic in a glass tank is that it can expand and contract ( so I've read on random posts here on RC ) and this can crack the tank. Any input on this? Thanks for the help as always!
