Hey everyone
I am planning a 6x3 footprint drop-off tank for the last quarter of this year-forst quarter of next. I have being in the hobby for 6 years and am 19 years old and work in a fish shop in my local area.
My plans for the tank are a 90x90x45 high shallow end and 90x90x90 "deep end". I hope to possibly put a baby 15cm bamboo catshark in this tank to add a WOW factor to the tank and I feel the openness im planning will be suited to its needs.
I will be using TMC aquaray tiles and beams on this tank and mainly tunze accessories. I hope that 4 tunze 6095's will do a good enough job for the flow of this tank accompanied by a decent return pump.
the shallow end will be home to many euphylia sp corals and other softs that are appealing to the eye aswell as a beautiful red bubble tip anemone to add another dimension. the deeper end will have rock leaving lots of open spaces on the ground for the possible shark addition and consist of morphs, gorgs, some leathers and possibly some easier acropora sp.
fish wise I plan to have about 15 lyretail anthia females, a pair of clowns, a school of tangs and a few other 'filler' fish.
the tank will be made of 19mm glass made my myself and a mate, most likely double based and have euro style braces on the bottom edges and cross braces on the top.
I am looking for help and critism on the current choices aswell as any advice on more equipment that will be needed for this project.
Regards
Ben
