1000 watt heater question

Knock on wood I have been running a 1000 Watt Blueline heater on my 200 gallon tank connected to a DC-8. I did not realize until now that there is a amperage limit per outlet on the DC-*. I figured it was 15 amp combined. So what is the better option get two smaller heaters and connect to two plugs; or option 2 run my heater on a relayed expansion outlet. My fear with this is the relay will not draw enough amperage to control the outlet on the DC-8. I do not want to waste the electric having a 25 wall bulb in parallel either. So what are you guys with hight volume tanks doing?

Neptune makes an expansion module. Its just a relay. I use a nice AB 700 relay. I use 2 600w heaters on my 125g (200 total) I think 1 600w heater would do, I run two for the redundancy, in case one goes bad, my tank doesn't suffer.

I have a Peltech 900 on the way and cant wait...
