I was at Home Depot the other day. They have some reading lamps that have pc bulbs in them. The box said the light gives off natural sunlight. I think it was 28 watts. Will this be good to light my nano tank. I have a 55G saltwater tank with MH. loaded with corals and live rock. I spent alot on the tank. I wanted to do a nano for my office. Just wondering how this light will work

Depending on the Home Depot there are curly power compact bulbs that say they're daylight bulbs. If you can't find a color temp indicated as 6500K it not a true daylight bulb.

I'm using one since my Coralife 18 X 2 fixture died. It's on the yellow side but the corals don't seem to mind.

There's also a 50/50 bulb available,

20w coralife
