10k or 16k Light help Maxspect Razor

Im ordering the Maxspect razor 160w lamp
but they show 2 different options 10k or 16k
im lost now have no clue what to get
i know the 16k is more blue which i like but will it still grow stuff
no sps all i have is lps and sofites and anemone
I like the bluish color of a tank but not alot of blue
is a 10k just plain old white ot is there still blue in it

I like the 16k version better. A 10k light to my eyes is white/yellow with almost no blue at all.

Will a 16k still promote coral growth?

They both promote coral growth 10K just has more of the yellow/white look as the 16K has more of a Blue look, I have the Maxspect 16K 27" model and it's pretty sweet. I just added some T-5 to the mix just to get a little more pop to my corals.

But with the 16k is it to much blue
You know how some tanks you see you just like "wow that's blue"
Is it still white just with blue tint ?
I originally wanted to get a AI Sol but they said I would need 2 for a 36" tank
And I do t feel like dropping a grand on 2

It is still white. You can control both Blues and Whites so you can have 100% white and 30% blues if you like... I like the white it really gives a crispy white look to the whole tank but I'm more of a Blue person so I like to mess around with having more blue than white

The razor 420r 27" 16K is awesome, saw it at a pet store and I'm going to order one myself soon here for my 90g future tank

How bad does it block the light the center support? I am also thinking of putting one on my 75 which has the center brace also.

i think you would be fine with one sol on the 3 foot tank...i have 3 on a 7 1/2 footer and never really go above 50 percent power .....it has more punch than 4 250 or 3 400 radiums did

It's not to bad I moved it a little to one side and raised it the lights all spread out now
