k after reading and planning my 120, i think i have finally come up with the lsit of what i am going to go with....
Ill post some pic in the next couple days of the tank, and then when i buy more i shall post the pics, because whats a thread without pics!!!!
So here goes, critique what ever You feel i can change for the better.
I bought a 120 made by midwest aquarium used
Tank is alittle scratched but nothing novus cant handle!
Going to sit on the all glass standard oak stand.
The sump i am going with a reefmania custom made sump, i will post pics when i get it next week. It is a copy of melevs model f sump, with it having the skimmer section/return/refugium.
The skimmer is also going to be made by reefmania PS6 made a little shorter to fit the AGA stand.
The return pump is going to be a Ehiem 1262 since the overflow isnt to big i dont want a massive return pump. This is also going to be run to sea swirl.
2*250 watt finex titanium heaters
2*250 10kxms ran on a pfo dual ballast, with 2* mini luminarcs, and 3 moonlights mounted in a 14" total hieght custom canopy, supplemented by 4*110 watt VHO actinics.
For movement i am going with 2*6000 tunze, one mounted on a wavy sea the other in the left corner of the aquarium. Then i think i will add a couple more smaller tunze aroudn the tank for flow touching everything.
A Aquacontroller jr. will help me out on the controlling the tank alittle.
That should be all i need to setup the tank, it is going to be SPS dominant with 3 pillars of live rock held up by acrylic rods!
