120 litre marine reef ideas

I am planning to set up a new 125 litre marine reef tank in my bedroom. I already have a small 55 litre nano marine in my room but am looking to upgrade and move my live stock (1, still young, black and white clown. a full grown firefish, 3 hermits (2 red, 1 blue) a blood red fire shrimp, blue tuxedo sea urchin, 5 snails variety of types and an anemone crab.) I've had my nano for about a year now but I am unhappy with my tank as the way I set it up I added way too much rock and its made the tank difficult to clean and obviously less room for the fish to swim and I just dont like the set up i have just now so i'm planning to shut down that wee tank and give it a fresh start as a small seahorse tank but thats a story for another post. I was looking for some advice and tips on how to best set up this tank PROPERLY and the best way I can to give my fish the best possible life :). The tank I was planning to get is the Fluval Roma 125 it contains 1 x Fluval Filter (U3 Internal), 2 x GLO T8 Light Tubes, 1 x Fluval Heater, 1 x Marina LCD Thermometer. Is this an okay tank for a marine set up? I'm also really unclued up on lights so i dont know if these light can be replaced or if these lights are strong enough to promote coral growth so advice on what to do there would be great. ive read that deep sandbeds in marine tanks can be dangerous so what would the recommended depth be? I have a 2 inch sandbed in my nano and like the look of it so would this be an okay depth? I've also researched and found something saying i'd need 12.5kg of live rock (1kg per 10 litre) is this a reasonable amount of rock? Because I followed live rock recommendations for my nano and feel like i have way too much in it. So what would you recommend? Another thing im wondering about is a stocking list obviously id have all my stock from my nano (excluding probably my anenome crab, i think he'll stay in the nano) I want to get another orange clown to keep my b&w company so what other fish would be good in a 120 litre? I really love the flame angels and coral beauty's but i think a 120 might be too small? so just any general help you can give a newbie would be really appreciated :D

The system would be okay for a fish only tank, but the lights and pumps are going to be too weak for most corals. 2" for a sand bed is fine. I would actually advise you to have closer to 15kg to 20kg of rock in the system unless you keep your fish load very light.

I have a aquaone 120 Nanoreef, I just changed the lights and added a refugium to the sump it already comes with and added carbon and gfo reactors. I also have a nano 46l fluval, I went through the exact same thing as you, in my experience if I could have ( which I couldn't because of space) I'd get the biggest tank I could afford because they fill up way to quickly. I also have a coral beauty, make sure you put a screen top on your tank because mine snapped one day after a tank rearrangement and forced my two clowns and goby out of the tank, also they tend to hide a lot, unless it's feeding time.
