Just found the prices myself.

Looks like the tank costs $689.99 and the stand costs $449.99.

That makes the combo $1139.98. From thatpetplace.com

Are the sump, plumbing, and return pump really worth over $1350 new?

Brad

Tank was $1300 stand was $700 between sump, pump, plumbing and bulkaeds ect ect about another $400 Sure that petplace.com has what for shipping? You have to pick it up in NY

I think you are a lot to high I had a custom built walnut stand and canopy and RR tank for 750 and could barely get that,If you have'nt heard we are all broke,With 4.00 a gallon gas who can afford a 1500 tank.Good Luck

Nielson is right, now is not a good time to be a seller. Used tanks and stands rarely sell for more than half what they are worth new (or at least I could never sell them for more than that). In your situation that means $650. Remember that just because you payed too much when you bought it, doesn't mean someone will pay you too much when you want to sell it. I would never have purchased a tank at twice the cost of the second google match.

Good luck finding a buyer. You might try craigslist, as it gets different visitors than RC.

Have fun with the fishing. After all of the hassle of trying to keep the darned things alive, it might be fun to try killing them for a change.

I was thinking similar to above $600 range... Good luck! That is what I paid for a 90 stocked with LR and fish, complete.

If you wanting something for 2 men, heres what I can get

12 ft. Semi V bottom boat with trailer, motor, and trolling motor.

I found something more respectable and in your neck of the woods.

a 12 foot lowe v bottom, 52 inches wide with a nice shorelander trailer, minkota trolling motor and battery, hummingbird fish finder, 2 swivel seats and anchor.

is there anything else I need to look for in a boat?

Also, what other things would you take for a trade (you previously mentioned you were opened to trades)

Thanks

younger or older kids? Don't want to get something that isn't useful for small kids if you have smaller kids, or if you have bigger kids if they may have outgrown certain other things...does my rambling make any sense?
