Hi! I am in the planning stages of a In wall tank and have a question. Most of the threads I see here people have fish rooms or a garage in there builds to house the pumps skimmers etc.I sadly am not that Luckly I was wondering if it would be possible to put the tank into the wall and fix it so I could still maintain it without the fish room .:spin3:

I guess it could be done, but I would make sure you had almost total access to the tank and equipment for water changes, cleaning, and any repairs. I have a 125g RR with a canopy and stand combo, and find I still wish I had more access to the top of the tank for cleaning and maintenance. I guess what I'm trying to say is PLAN this type of build out VERY carefully. I know from experience and several tank builds that there is always something you missed, over looked, or did not think of until your done. Good Luck and looking forward to build thread and photo's.

i am in the middle of such a build mine is dividing 2 rooms and trying to get base to look as though its part of the wall but with full access so went for mdf as is paintable so good luck

Well mine would be easier if I could make it dividing 2 rooms but mine will be right up against a wall ::shrug:: I have a friend that frames houses said he would do it for free pretty much if I got all the stuff to do it so cant pass that kinda deal up :)
