12g NanoCube

[Zero-2-Sixty]

I just upgraded from my Hex5 to the 12g NanoCube!

I took out the stock pump and put in a MJ900 with the hydor flow. Im planning on some form of MH, open top or otherwise, but i cant seem to find one in a good price range.

here you go, MY CUBE!

Right side is the Tonga branch that came out of my old Hex5

Left side is newer rock that was cured in the sump at About the Reef (its good to know people in good places)

Top Down, u can see how each piece backs up to the wall

Thats about the size of it, any imput is welcome. More to come soon.

Cool setup and nice looking clownfish. Are u planning on getting any corals???

Very nice aesthetics, really natural looking; backing the rock against the wall will lead to dead spots/trapped detritus.
It is one of the misfortunes of keeping small tanks.

I'd recommend a 70watt HQI, I placed a 150watt HQI on the same tank and ended up raising the light substantially to keep the heat issue down as well as to keep from burning some of my lesser light lovers ( I believe it was overkill).

sorry reef5, here are a few corals i transfered over.

Heres Don the clown (girlfriend named him) and a tiny green encrusting monti frag i got for free at Pets Inc.

some green zoos out of my old Hex5, not a great pic

again crappy pic, but these are beautiful in real life. Green skirt, light blue disk, and a yellow-green mouth.

In the pic of the green zoos, u can see the second zoos in the top left corner.

Coral Plans:
-Ricordia on the right side. i already have a green over there, no pic tho. Anyone with some rics theyre lookin to bum off for a good price pm me
-Sps on the left side. the encrusting i have seems to be doing well, it hasnt lost any of its color. Currently lookin for small bonsai colonies of digis and caps.

Fishy plans:
trading in the clown, he was a rescue from friends crashing tank
-Barnacle Blenny
-Flasher Wrasse
and then
-a cleaner shrimp
or
-a pistol shrimp/goby combo

Anyone think thats too much? tell me what u think
