15 To 20 Gallons Of Water On Floor

I got up ( well I was woken up) at 3am to let the dogs out. When I looked at my tank it was missing a 1/4 of the water. Apparently the suction cups on the filter output came loose and shot the water up and out of the tank. Thank god for the dogs or it would have been a disaster. So I think the suction cups are shot. I know I can buy new ones, but even on the power heads they give after a while.

Any one have any tips on attaching tubes and stuff to the interior glass?

Oh and by the way those piece of junk units that are suppose to beep when they come in contact with water stink......

You could glue the power head to a magnet and attach it that way. All suction cups can and will fail after awhile. As for the water alert thingy mine has saved me once when my tank overflowed for no apparent reason..... Sucker is loud!

Just ask my parents who live downstairs, They swear they live in Seattle!!
the water screamer Chris mentioned is loud but only if your home
like the saying goes if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there does it make a sound? (but is a good and cheap investment)
live and learn.....
