I would not waste any money on an Octopus Skimmer. They break fairly easy and replacement parts are impossible to get. I have an NW 200 that broke at the connection going to the pump after having it only 2 months in use. Now it is just sitting in my basement collecting dust.
I am sure others may have had better experience with them but I have chosen not use a skimmer at all and my tank looks better and healthier than it did when I had one. I plan to do the same for my 150 gallon.
