Well, Dinoflagellates seem to be winning. After countless blackouts, peroxide, Dino-x, I'm just ready for a reset. Taking this opportunity to try a different layout.
The tank was built DIY (not by me). It is plexiglass G (basically the best). 3/4" back panel and everything else is 1/2". The bottom might be 3/4" but I can't remember. The seams don't look perfect but it is very solid and braced on the inside basically along every seam with acrylic as well as a bead of Weldon 40 for good measure. I polished the hell out of the tank before setting up, as well as drilled and installed a ghost style overflow. I'll take $100 off the tank if you don't want the overflow.
The tank is plumbed as bean animal with black pvc and grey schedule 40 fittings anywhere it is visible. There's also a spears gate on the full siphon which is a very nice tuning tool.
The light is in pretty great shape with the exception of very mild salt spray on the reflectors. The other issue with the lights the controller. The buttons are broken off, but you can still use them with a toothpick. It also does not retain the time if unplugged, but saves ramp settings. New controller is $100ish from ATI or you could easily wire the dimming up to a controller and call it a day. I have two DIY LED strips (NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE) on the fixture that are roughly 200 watts total. Mostly Cree royal blue and a few regular blue and cool white for dusk/dawn. The LEDs are dimmable with a light controller or full aquarium controller. I will sell these with the light if interested (extra).
You can have the sump if you want it. It's just a 20 gallon two compartment with a bubble trap in between.
$850 or best offer for everything listed (minus LED).
Certain trades will be considered. I'm looking for a new tank, but prefer 60 or 90 gallon cube. If you have something else feel free to let me know and I will consider it. Also would accept nicer LEDs (G3 radions, hydras, kessil, etc).
