1st purchase and feeding

Purchased these little guys yesterday they are my first fish. Tried feeding them this morning with some small marine pellets. Apperently they did not like them and kept spitting them out. I then tried some frozen mysis shrimp with the same results. seemed like the shrimp were a little to large for them. Would flakes or a chopped up reef mix be a better choise?

alot of people feed pellets with no issues, but none of my clowns like them. i feed mine new life spectrum optimum flakes.

i had the same issue just keep going and htey will eat. my new clowns didnt like cyclopeeze at first but i kept feeding it and eventually they got hungry enough to eat it

My clowns eat just about everything except nori and large pellets. They go crazy for frozen Cyclopsese.

Took over a week for my first clown to even try anything i put in the tank, now it eats everything i can throw at it. The second clown wasn't so picky, it ate on it's second day.
