What are you trying to keep?

That is the first question you have to ask yourself and determine an answer.

You can always buy more leds, assuming you have the disposable income. It's that saying, "better have it and not need it, then need it and not have it."

I would go with 3 on a tank that long since I like to make my tanks' a mixed reef

If they are dimmable and you can afford extra more never hurts for coverage and future light needs. I have 6 LED's on my 210.
