Tank is finally ready for me to keep sps'! So I've been acquiring some over the past month and since then, I haven't been able it haven't been able to keep up with my dosing for some reason. I'm up to 98.5ml per day dosed every hour for 24 hours. It seems to be on the higher end and yet my Alk is still dropping. No precipitation can be seen and very minimal coralline algae. Just looking to get an idea of how much everyone is dosing. Thanks.

Hm I'm a little less than half of your dose but nowhere near the amount of grown out colonies you have.

Saturated Kalk on a timed topoff (for consistent dosing) plus 75ml each part C-Balance daily.

This is a narrow/tall 150 gallons with probably near 150 gallons water subtracting for rocks but adding the sump volume back in.

I bought a kalk reactor to do this at night to help with ph. Any tips to getting it started?

I avoided the reactor as I don't get how to add a significant amount of Kalk without altering topoff. I suppose if you use floats it will compensate but I dislike floats.

I'm thinking I just need to put an aqualifter on a timed outlet of apex and start there.

AquaLifter can be very random as far as flow. I bought one of those topoff peristaltic type pumps from BRS and it's worked great ever since.

Spectrapure makes a great stand alone peristaltic pump.
