2 Pistol shrimp goby pairs

I have a Randall's Goby and some type of pistol shrimp paired up on 1 of my 2 rock formations at the left of the tank. I like how the pistol shrimp disturbs the sand on that side of the tank. My problem is that the other side of the tank has undisturbed sand that makes a boring flat bottom. Could adding another goby shrimp pair solve this?

With that size tank you could have a pistol and a shrimp on each side. There is no guarantee they will each stay on their side, but it can easily be done in that size tank. Look for a different species of goby just to be safe.

I have two pairs on my tank that are actually only about 2' apart (in a 6'tank). I don't think they know each other exists as there is some rock between them.

I thought about putting them in a colander upside down on the sand near the rock I wanted them under and see if it would influence the shrimp to dig in there but I never tried it.

I have two pairs in my 75g, they both stay on opposite sides so should be doable. They are both completely different pairs, YWG w/randalli pistol and a Randal's goby w/tiger pistol.

So you're worried they'll all go in together and leave that side boring?
In that case, I suppose you could add another pair... I doubt three pairs will live together.
