2 weeks...should I worry

Thumper, my G. Smithi closed his den up 2 weeks ago when the outside temps here in Cincinnati were almost 80 degrees F. 2 days later the temps dropped into the mid teens within a 24 hr period. Working nights I didn't think to plug the heaters back in before I left for work and I tend to miss the news & weather so the temp drop came as a suprise to me. My reef & seahorse tanks faired well with no ill effects of an 8 degree drop in temp overnight. As of this posting though, Thumper has yet to emerge. Up untill now molting would last 2-4 days. It has now been 15 days & I see no signs of a ammonia spike or Thumper. With this to ponder, should I worry and wait it out with fingers crossed? Or do I invade the den to see what is going on? I'm leaning toward the wait & see side of this. Better safe than sorry, at least for another week then maybe take a peek. What does the community think/feel?

leave the mantis alone. watch your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate levels. nitrogen will tell you if something died. even after a week's time, leave it alone. bothering it will do nothing good
