20L with a 175MH to much?

I am moving and I am breaking down some of my tanks. I want to keep my Mated Pair of Black Ocellaris Clowns and I have extra 20L tanks in the attic. I was going to set this up to the easy of setup and equipment, and I have an extra 175 SE MH laying around. My 100gal now is a SPS tank so the 20L will be SPS also. Would a 20k XM or Reflux bulb be too much power for a SPS tank of this size? If you already have somethings similar feel free to post pictures.

Since you already have the stuff, I would use it, but wouldn't go out and buy it. The key is going to be acclimating everything to that amount of light, but it will help that you are going to use a 20K bulb.

I ran a 175w setup with a 10k Hamilton bulb over a 10g for about a year. The trick it to keep it high enough that it doesn't cook the tank. That being said my fixture also had the ballast inside of it. My bulb was about 14" above the water.

Indeed, I am hoping that the 20k will help bump down the PAR.

What type of software do you test? I am Software QA also.

i tried this for awhile, not as good as it sounds. The light spread was very bad, even with the lamp 6" above the surface.

I was much happier with the same thing over a 29, and awesome results..
