Finally I have bought a new tank aqeon 210 for 799.00 with free shipping! I will post photos of the build this week sometime. It is going to be a long one as I am always on a budget and want it to be perfect so I am taking my time. All are welcome to tag along. I know I started a 240 build but the guy selling the tank to me fell through on his end so I started this thread with my new 210. Sorry for the confusion guys. Here it goes. I will post photos tonight possibly of the new tank as it is sitting in my garage right now. I am building the stand out of steele. 1.5"x1.5" .120 thickness for bracing and 1.5"x3" .120 thickness for main supports.

Update 1

ok, as promised here are some photos of the progress. The stand is .120 thickness steele that I welded myself and the canopy is .85 thickness steele. The sump/refugium is 80 gallons total with 28 gallons in the refugium. I ran 3 20 amp breakers with 3 switches for a total of 18 ports of power. I have a ocean motion 4 way coming for the closed loop which I drilled the tank in the back with 5 holes. one 1 1/2" and four 1" returns. I have my overflows set at 1" and the returns at 3/4". feed back is appreciated and I hope the photos are ok. I also added Marco rock for the back wall and I planned to use pond foam to cover the closed loop return lines and suction line as well as the overflows. What do you all think?

here are some more shots of the build. Keep in mind that the last photo is where I decided to take a break as I did everything in 6 days! I plan to encase the entire stand including the canopy in wood so you will see nothing but the tank. Sidewinder770 has a nice build that gave me most of my ideas. I also made my own screens for the suction on the CL by drilling small holes around the edge of the elbows and lacing it with fishing line. Sort of what I call my redneck engineering.
