230 lbs of semi live rock. need help

just drove 3 hours from home to get 230 lbs of "live rock". When I got there the person had taken it out of their tank 24 hrs before and it was in rubbermaid tubs dry sitting in the driveway. So it has now bee about 30hrs out of the water. My tank is new and has not been cycled and I was hoping this rock would keep it from going through a hard cycle. Now I don't know if the rock is still live or not. Do I cure it in a separate tank or go ahead and put it in the display?

If it doesn't smell like death I would put it in only if there is no life, if u have live stock put it in a seperate tub jmo

I only have 5 green chromis for cycling the tank. Maybe I will drop in some bio-spira to help it cycle out the dieoff.
