Part 2 is in !!

Part 2 is in !!

WOW! we picked up "part 2" this afternoon and we now have everybody in the aquarium. This package is INCREDIBLE. The only difficult part so far is the aquascaping. Its hard to figure out how to stack rocks without crushing something beautiful.

Not only are the rocks and critters amazing, but the customer service from Richard at TBS has been outstanding.

If you are thinking about ordering from TBS, just do it! You will not regret it.

Thanks again Richard!!

Sorry my pictures look aweful here. I'll try again once I figure out how to get better ones posted. Trimming them below 50K didn't help. Everything looks different and even more spectacular now that in those pictures anyway.

what package did you get, because the 25 gallon package seems like to much rock for a 24 gallon tank. looks great though, any bad critters with your stuff.

I got the 25g pkg for my AP24 and it's just the right amount of rocks. I've the same problem as rupnow on aquascaping and it's very easy to crush something nice. After putting all the rocks in and realize so much is stacked in the middle of the tank (because I didn't want to crush anything) that it's dark at the bottom and front of the rocks but the back it's bright. Oh well, after all that work I don't want to tear it down and redo.

I got one mantis each time and got them out both times and that's about it for bad critter.

We got the 20 Gallon package for our 24 gallon nanocube. I think it was just about right.

Aquascaping is tough in the small tanks. Theres not much to do but make as interesting? a pile as possible. We stacked alot against the back. The nanocube has a plastic back section that contains the pump and sponge filtration. This also cuts down on the total water space in the tank. Thats partly why we did the 20 instead of the 25 ga package.

We did catch one mantis. There is still something clicking in there but haven't found it yet. Not for lack of looking. I'm hoping (but not optimistic) that it is a pistol shrimp.
